Art defines a room. It sets the tone, speaks volumes in its silence, and starts conversations. As such, whether you choose a piece that acts as a backdrop or focal point to a room, the experience that surrounds choosing the right artwork matters. You want to feel secure in what you’re buying, that is fits, and that it makes a lasting impression.

Our art services were designed with you in mind. To help you get the most out of your art buying experience, we created a step-by-step guide.

Set Up a Consultation

We encourage art enthusiasts and novices to visit our gallery to explore the art styles they connect with the most.  Ask us questions, tell us your budget, and show us what captures your attention. As part of our art services, we’ll guide you to the artist, type of work, size, and cost best suited for you.

Consider a Commission

Once you’ve chosen the artist best suited for your taste, we invite you to think beyond our gallery walls. Barsky Gallery art services can connect you directly to an artist to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience— a commissioned piece of your very own, a chance to be part of the creation process.

Art commissions depend on current sales value, plus a typical 15-20% premium. But there is no price on originality.

Set the Digital Stage

Now that you’ve gotten a taste for what your perfect piece will look like, it’s time to visualize. With only a few quality photographs, our art services can digitally stage any space. There’s no heavy lifting, and no risk.

Frame It

You’ve found the art that speaks to you, and you’ve chosen where it will go. Now, it’s time to place it on your wall. The first step is deciding how to frame it.

Commonly, in many households or offices, you might notice deep canvases with art work finished on the sides. This is called a gallery wrap, and is a type of work which a frame isn’t necessary. However, we find that many clients still request a floater frame to create a finished look that appropriately matches their decor. Such frames are simple, sleek, and enhance the colors enclosed within.

Other types of art always need to be mounted and framed, such as works on paper. Fortunately, our art services provide the various styles and color options that will suit your taste and texture for a timeless feel.

Be Confident With Your Purchase

The digital stage is set, but nothing compares to a new piece of art finding its final place on your wall. We want you to be confident in your decision, that’s why we offer a 24 to 48 hour guilt-free period for clients to try on the artwork in their home or office. See how it looks and feels before committing.

Once you’ve made the decision to keep it, our professional installer will come to you and secure it in place to round out your art buying experience.

We encourage you to use our step-by-step guide anywhere in the world. Art is an emotional investment, as much as it is a financial one, and you should look back on your experience with comfort and confidence.
